HOW TO JOIN A TEAM

If you'd like to join our boys' family, simply sign up, below, for a tryout. Whether you do so in time to make one of our summer tryouts or you sign up for an in-season tryout somewhere during the season at practice, we accept players for open positions all year long.


1ON1 SURFERS VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY trained and certified coaching staff has been producing collegiate athletes for dozens of mens volleyball programs around the country for over 25 years right here in Florida

In 2024, the academy director made a fundamental shift. We decided to move away from 352 Elite Volleyball boys program and start to think on the development of young athletes and help then to achieve their goals for the next level. We made this move in order to give the players longer development times before college. It has been a wildly successful change.


Below is more specific information for you to consider. Before making any decision on the club, please plan to come out to visit a practice with your son. It will be well worth your time. Though we have tryouts before beginning our season, we welcome new players throughout the year. So, if they missed the summer tryout, simply contact us and we’ll arrange to have you come on out to practice with us.

We think you're about to take the smartest step of your young volleyball career, by joining our 1ON1 Surfers Volleyball Academy Boys Family. We are the new boys' volleyball academy alternative in the central Florida. Several claim this to be true, but only one club can sit atop the group. This is easily verified by checking out where 1ON1 Surfers Volleyball Academy falls in each age division against all the other clubs in this large region of the country. We edging from the experience of many accomplishments in the over 20 years of coaching and developing new athletes.

We believe in organic teams that they can stay together to build chemistry from Day 1 that way. As they progress through the years, they only get closer. This continuity and familiarity promote a FAMILY atmosphere in our gym. So, don't worry, we will have teams at every age group and level.
